We are looking for a talented web programmer with a desire to become part of our rapidly growing integrated marketing agency. Not only do we provide website design and programming services for clients but we also create software extensions (components, modules, plugins) for the Joomla content management system. We need someone who can help out on both fronts. The ideal candidate must be a team player that is able to work well in a group environment. In this position, you will work closely with our lead developer to develop the next generation of our web-based products and services. You should be detail-oriented, with outstanding organizational and prioritization skills.

Skills:

Excellent knowledge of front end web development - XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and JavaScript-based libraries
Experience with back-end web development - PHP, PHP frameworks, - LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and other modern web technologies
Some knowledge of open source CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla etc.
Ability to write code that is clear, well-commented, free of errors and easy to maintain
Debug and troubleshoot layout and scripting issues across a variety of browsersWorking knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite

Experience:

Experience creating and working with sitemaps, storyboards, user flows, wireframes, and other information design documents for web sites and interactive projects
Understanding of security risks associated with website development
Highly motivated, committed to excellence, and passionate about web and internet related projects
Excellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and communication skills

Required experience:

Web Development - XHTML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON and JavaScript-based libraries, PHP, PHP frameworks, - LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and other modern web technologies, Joomla CMS administration
